What I’m into.

The stuff that keeps me busy, keeps me learning, and keeps me sane outside of work.

BJJ is one of those things you fall into and never fully escape — and that’s a good thing. I train as regularly as I can and am always looking to improve. There’s a unique kind of problem-solving that happens on the mats — every roll is a puzzle, and you’re always either setting traps or trying to escape them. The discipline and humility it demands has spilled over into every other area of my life.

Music is always on — whether I’m working, driving, or winding down. My taste is all over the place, which I consider a feature, not a bug. I’m drawn to artists who push boundaries and production that rewards close listening. If you have a recommendation, I’m always open ears.

San Antonio is home, but I love getting out and exploring. Travel resets your perspective in a way nothing else can — new cultures, new food, new ways of seeing the world. I try to travel as much as life allows and always come back with a full camera roll and a wider worldview.

I picked up photography as a way to document travel, and it grew into something I genuinely love. I’m still learning — composition, light, timing — but that’s kind of the point. Head over to the gallery to see what I’ve been shooting.

Food is one of my biggest passions — both cooking it and eating it. I’m a home chef who takes it seriously: experimenting with new techniques, sourcing good ingredients, and turning a meal into an experience. From slow-smoked BBQ to handmade pasta to bold international flavors, if it’s interesting to cook, I want to try it.

Tech professional by day, homelab builder by night. I run a Proxmox VE cluster with ZFS storage, self-hosted services, and a constant stream of projects to learn from. If it plugs in, I’m probably tinkering with it.
